NBL-US Expands into Columbus, Ohio

The National Basketball League – United States (NBL-US) proudly announces the addition of the Columbus Clutch (men’s program) and Lady Clutch (women’s program) as the league’s newest Division 1 franchises. This expansion marks a historic moment for Columbus, establishing the city as a premier destination for professional development basketball in the Midwest.

By joining Division 1, the Clutch become part of a growing league that is dedicated to offering athletes ages 16 and up a unique platform for exposure, development, and advancement toward collegiate, national, and international basketball careers.

Lillian Countee, Commissioner of the NBL-US, expressed her excitement about the league’s entry into Columbus:
